Why Iphone?

Some reasons I can think of:
  1. First entrant to this generation of mobile phones (with good WebKit based browsers, app stores, decent cameras, 3G, etc.) so it had a first mover advantage.
  2. Really solid construction.  The phone feels really good in your hand.  This actually makes a big difference for me and I think it probably does for other people.  Also, the slim form factor fits easily into a pocket and doesn't require a weird holster or case.
  3. Great variety of applications available ("There's an app for that").  Related to (1).
  4. Works well with iTunes which many people use to manage their music, so it's a convenient way to have a portable music player with your phone.
  5. Pretty reasonably priced (with a long term contract).
  6. Everyone else has them, and people tend to copy each other.
  7. Really well marketed.  Apple has done a consistently good job designing their products and the way they are presented as well.
  8. Better software than competitor devices, particularly the OS (though the built-in mail and maps and calendar applications are actually just so-so.)
  9. Looks really cool.  Related to (2).
  10. iPhone is a standard.  Other phone manufacturers seem to have a ton of radically different devices, but there's only one iPhone per generation--and even across generations they aren't very different--so it's easy to make a choice as a consumer.  This also makes life easier for app developers since they have fewer variations to worry about.
  11. It's easy to try out iPhones.  Many people have them so it's easy to borrow one to try it.  It's also easy to find them in stores and Apple Stores in particular make it really easy to play with the phone if you are thinking about buying it.
  12. Lots of publicity around the iPhone.  Related to (1), (6), and (7)

Why Muslims do "Hajj" or Pilgrimage??

The Hajj (/hædʒ/;[1] Arabic: حج‎‎ Ḥaǧǧ "pilgrimage") is an annual Islamicpilgrimage to Mecca, and a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslimswho are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and can support their family during their absence. It is one of thefive pillars of Islam, alongside Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, and Sawm. The Hajj is the largest annual gathering of people in the world. The state of being physically and financially capable of performing the Hajj is called istita'ah, and a Muslim who fulfills this condition is called a mustati. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God(Allah). The word Hajj means "to intend a journey", which connotes both the outward act of a journey and the inward act of intentions.

The pilgrimage occurs from the 8th to 12th (or in some cases 13th) of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar. Because the Islamic calendar is lunar and the Islamic year is about eleven days shorter than the Gregorianyear, the Gregorian date of Hajj changes from year to year. Ihram is the name given to the special spiritual state in which pilgrims wear two white sheets of seamless cloth and abstain from certain actions.

The Hajj is associated with the life of Islamic prophet Muhammad from the 7th century, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca is considered by Muslims to stretch back thousands of years to the time of Abraham. During Hajj, pilgrims join processions of hundreds of thousands of people, who simultaneously converge on Mecca for the week of the Hajj, and perform a series of rituals: each person walks counter-clockwise seven times around the Ka'aba (the cube-shaped building and the direction of prayer for the Muslims), runs back and forth between the hills of Al-Safa and Al-Marwah, drinks from the Zamzam Well, goes to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil, spends a night in the plain of Muzdalifa, and performs symbolic stoning of the devil by throwing stones at three pillars. The pilgrims then shave their heads, perform a ritual of animal sacrifice, and celebrate the three-day global festival of Eid al-Adha.

Pilgrims can also go to Mecca to perform the rituals at other times of the year. This is sometimes called the "lesser pilgrimage", or Umrah. However, even if they choose to perform the Umrah, they are still obligated to perform the Hajj at some other point in their lifetime if they have the means to do so.

How to be stronger in a little time?

Stay committed to the gym and constantly fine-tune your workouts, and you're sure to be significantly stronger in a few weeks. But damn it, sometimes that's just not soon enough — like when you're meeting your buddies at the gym in an hour, and you want to make sure you smoke them on the bench press. Behold, our best tips to get immediately stronger:

1. "WORK UP" TO YOUR HEAVIEST WEIGHT INSTEAD OF USING A PYRAMID.

Do several warm-up sets with low reps that prepare you to lift your heaviest on your last few sets. That way, you'll have energy for those sets — the most crucial ones for strength gains. Say you're planning to squat with 300 pounds for five reps. You could do 135 pounds for six reps, 185 for five, 225 for three, 275 for two, and then 300 for five. By the time you get to the 300 set, you'll be thoroughly warmed up but not fatigued.
2. VISUALIZE EVERY REP BEFORE YOU DO THE SET.

Imagine how it will feel, where your eyes will be focused, and how you'll breathe. Doing so will make you more "familiar" with how the set will be done, and it will seem easier.
3. REST THREE TO FIVE MINUTES BETWEEN SETS.

To lift your hardest, your body needs to regenerate as much ATP — the fuel source for muscle contractions — as possible. Take the time to feel fully recovered before you attempt any personal record on a lift.
4. WORK ON YOUR WEAK POINTS.

If you can't lock out your elbows on the bench press, try setting the safety rails in a power rack at about your sticking point on the lift. Put roughly 100 pounds more than your one-rep maximum weight on the bar and then try to press it — naturally, you won't be able to move the bar but try hard anyway for six to 10 seconds. Do four to six reps, resting a few seconds in between, and then lighten the load to the weight you usually have trouble locking out. Your central nervous system should now be sufficiently fired up for you to lift it.

5. TRAIN WITH SOMEONE STRONGER THAN YOU.

Even if you have to invite the biggest animal in the gym to spot you, having someone around who inspires (or intimidates) you will always make you up your intensity.
